The Challenge
Michael Lee’s kitchen lighting setup just wasn’t working. His space had only two outdated surface-mounted ceiling lights, neither attractive nor functional.
Michael envisioned a brighter, more modern space with pendant lights over the island and recessed LED lighting throughout the room. But there was a problem: he wanted the pendants on a separate switch from the main lights, and the existing wiring made that nearly impossible without tearing up walls and ceilings.
Our Solution
Kinsmen Electric knew there had to be a smarter way. Our team:
- Replaced the old fixtures with three stylish pendant island lights
- Installed eight Halo 4” LED wafer lights for full-room brightness
- Solved the switching dilemma with wireless lighting controls, eliminating the need for messy ceiling or drywall work
This approach gave Michael the look and functionality he wanted, without the hassle of a major renovation.
