Under new ownership, Pioneer Lakes wanted to enhance their summer campground experience by adding a splash pad for children. Kinsmen Electric provided the expert electrical work needed to safely power pumps, lighting, and controls, ensuring a fun and secure environment for guests.
Pioneer Lakes, a popular Somerset County destination for out-of-town visitors, wanted to expand its outdoor activities for children with a splash pad. The challenge was providing reliable and safe electrical power for the pumps and control systems in an environment where water is everywhere.
Our team coordinated with the local power company to bring electricity from an existing structure to the splash pad area. We installed a substation in a nearby shed, ran conduit through a trench, and provided a sub-panel to feed the pump house and control systems. Safety was a top priority, so proper grounding was installed to ensure that electricity and water coexisted safely.
We also coordinated with the splash pad installation company to provide all necessary power, lighting, and controls, allowing the water features to operate smoothly while keeping children safe. The result was a fully functional, safe, and durable splash pad that quickly became a favorite summer attraction.
